UNC Game Moved to 9:05 p.m.

CBS has switched the game time for Saturday’s East Regional final, moving North Carolina’s game with Louisville to 9:05.

CBS had previously said the game, to be played at Charlotte Bobcats Arena, would be at 6:40 p.m.

“CBS just switched the time periods last night,” Ged Young, the CBS director of affiliate relations for the East Coast, said Friday morning. “It was originally set for 6:40.”

Young said CBS wanted to move the game into a later time slot for ratings purposes.

UNC advanced to the final by defeating Washington State, 68-47.

In the late game Thursday in Charlotte, Louisville ousted Tennessee, 79-60.
