Thomas, Mason Rally in WRAL, Fan Picks

Mark Thomas and Dan Mason, who got off to slow starts on their NCAA brackets, rallied over the weekend to correctly pick three of the teams in the Final Four.

The staffs of WRAL and 99.9 FM The Fan each selected brackets before the tournament started, and Thomas and Mason went for some upsets early on. Thomas, for example, had North Carolina losing in the second round.

Also having three of the Final Four correct are Bob Holliday, Ken Medlin and Dane Huffman of WRAL, Ryan Craig of WRAL.com and Dave Rothenberg of The Fan.

Jeff Gravley and Jason Jennings of WRAL and Scott Jackson and Mike Maniscalco of The Fan each picked two correct.

Picking UCLA to win the title were Maniscalco, Rothenberg, Medlin, Gravley, Jackson and Thomas.

Selecting UNC were Holliday, Huffman and Jennings.

Craig was the only one to pick Kansas, and Mason picked Memphis.
