Taylor King To Leave Duke

Taylor King has decided to leave Duke, school officials announced Monday. King saw action in all 34 games in 2007-08, averaging 5.9 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound freshman finished the season with 43 three-point field goals to rank eighth in the Duke freshman record books. He also shot 38.7 percent (43-of-111) from three-point distance to rank seventh among freshman at Duke.

"Taylor is a solid young man and has the ability to be a good player," said coach Mike Krzyzewski. "We support him in his decision to transfer and wish him the best of luck in the future."
