Eugene out, Wilson questionable for Wolfpack
Sep 4, 2008
Running back Jamelle Eugene is out with an ankle injury and quarterback Russell Wilson is questionable with a Grade III concussion, N.C. State said in announcing its injury report Thursday.
Defensive end Willie Young is listed as questionable with an ankle sprain.
Also out for the game are tight end Anthony Hill (pectoralis strain, injured in the South Carolina game), receiver Donald Bowens (back) and safety Javon Walker (knee).
State plays at home on Saturday against William and Mary at 6 p.m.
Eugene did not play in the South Carolina game and Wilson was carted off after a blow to the head.
State released its injury report after coach Tom O'Brien talked to the media Thursday afternoon.

Well somebody better step up period. I will not make excuses if we lose games, and most of our key players are out. This is a chance for some young players to step up, and make their mark. Play Beck, please.
do you guys NOT follow the team. The only news in the last 7 days is that Anthony Hill is hurt...its the internet age, there's only 400 websites devoted to NCSU athletics out there. (smiley)
Geez, just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.
Oh man, do we have any running back left? Not so long ago, we were so deep at this position. Now that's not the case anymore.
Lonewolf: I thought the same too. How often do you see a team that has all starters at key positions (QB, RB, WR to name a few) injured.
Go Pack!!!
Is it just me or does it seem like NC State has more starters injured every year than any other ACC school. Maybe only Mary will show up this weekend and we won't need all those guys.
