East Carolina stunned the college football world with their last-minute win over Virginia Tech last week.
Make it two for two for the Pirates.
The Pirates crushed the eighth-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers 24-3 in Greenville Saturday afternoon, to record their second non-conference win in as many weeka against a top-25 team.
Patrick Pinkney was the MVP for ECU, as the veteran signal-caller went 22-28 for 236 yards and a touchdown in the school's first win against a top-10 team since 1999.
With the win, East Carolina recorded their third straight win over a top-25 team for only the second time in school history, dating back to last season's bowl victory over Boise State.
The Pirate defense held West Virginia without a touchdown for the first time since 2001.
