Carson, CA (Sports Network) - Juninho and Robbie Keane provided the Los Angeles Galaxy with a pair of braces at The Home Depot Center on Saturday, giving the club a 4-2 victory over Toronto FC.
The Brazilian gave the Galaxy a two-goal lead in spectacular fashion, curling a free kick past Toronto goalkeeper Freddy Hall in the 12th minute before firing a long-range effort into the upper corner in the 33rd minute.
Robbie Keane added a third in the 36th minute following an intricate passage of play, but Terry Dunfield spoiled the Galaxy's chance at a clean sheet with a header two minutes later.
Luis Silva made for an interesting finish when he scored off of a deflected shot in the 86th minute to bring Toronto to within one, but Keane completed his brace with a nifty fake to get around Ashtone Morgan and a powerful shot past Hall from close range.
The win helps Los Angeles (15-11-4) maintain pace in the Western Conference as it remains tied second place with Real Salt Lake on 49 points apiece.
Toronto (5-18-7) sees its winless run extend to 10 games as the club stays put in the Eastern Conference cellar with 22 points on the season.
