RailHawks play Atlanta to 4-4 tie

Cary, N.C. — The Carolina RailHawks (0-1-1) remain winless on the season after a 4-4 tie Saturday night at WakeMed Soccer Park.
The RailHawks struck in the first minute against visiting Atlanta, going up 1-0 on a Mike Palacio goal.
In the 38th minute, Nick Zimmerman took advantage of a wide open goal to extend the Carolina lead to 2-0.
Atlanta answered with two goals to tie it at the half, and the Silverbacks took the 3-2 lead in the 67th minute.
Carolina's Zimmerman knotted it at 3 in the 74th minute. The teams traded goals as time wound down, but ended up with the stalemate.

The Railhawks are 0-2-0, not 0-1-1. They've had a draw in both of their games.
Really weak piece of 'reporting' here by WRAL. It was a very exciting game that ended with a fight, police on the field, and the refs calling off the last two minutes of stoppage time. Quite a night considering all that and the 8 goals scored. The only bad thing is that the friends I brought with me to their first soccer game are going to think they'll always see this much scoring and excitement...
