— The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is one of several national basketball powers scheduled to take part in the 2014 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas, and the Tar Heels will open tournament play Nov. 26 with a game against Butler.

North Carolina and Butler tip at 12 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

With a win, UNC would advance to the semifinals for a matchup with UCLA or Oklahoma. That game would tip at 1 p.m. on Nov. 27 and be broadcast on ESPN.

Teams on the opposite side of the bracket include Florida, Wisconsin, Georgetown and Alabama-Birmingham. Wisconsin will face UAB in the opening round, and Georgetown will play Florida.

The championship game will be held Nov. 28 at 4:30 p.m.

The Tar Heels will also be in the Bahamas in mid-August for exhibition games against the Providence Storm and the Bahamas All-Stars.
