After a month of qualifying matches, Amanda Blumenherst and Liz Janangelo will be playing in the US Open July 8-11 at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pa.
The two join former Blue Devil and two-time All America Brittany Lang, who did not have to qualify for the tournament.
Blumenherst is making her fourth Open appearance and first as a professional. At Duke she earned National Player of the Year honors three times and is currently in the front runner for the LPGA Rookie of the Year award.
Janangelo, who earned 2004's National Player of the Year award at Duke, turned pro in 2008 and is also playing her fourth Open.
So far this year, only Blumenherst and Lang have notched top-10 finishes. None have won any tournaments this year.
