I can agree with most all statements on this one. However, Suh doesn't stay within the rules. How many times has he been flagged for trying to injure a player? The great ones do it the right way.

  • PacknoPride Dec 4, 2012

I would disagree with you about cancelling the Kansas City vs Carolina game. Would WRAL close down and not report any sports if this happened in the sports dept. at WRAL? Would any business close down, if it happened at their business? A lot of people depend on that game being played for their paychecks. Not playing that game, should not have been an option.
As far as Ndamukong Suh goes. Football is a violent game played by violent people. He does what he does to help his team win football games.
Majerus had a basketball mind. He always got the most of the players he had. I like him as a coach.

  • Hammerhead Dec 3, 2012

Majerus learned at the knee of Al McGuire, one of the great coaches of all time.

  • VT1994Hokie Dec 3, 2012

Majerus was one of the best coaches in winning at four schools. Billionaire coach. Time will tell if he knows anything. Marshall needs some coaching to get his shot down. Suh. Pretty nasty player, and hope that the NFL will continue to make him pay. The Chiefs. I feel for the family members of these two deceased people.

Goon, a very underutilized word in sports. Is this considered journalism or simply a blod entry?

  • tayled Dec 3, 2012

Mandy, I love reading your blog, but would you please refrain from using the term "like" I refer to the part about Suh where you said he had "like" 900 sacks. I expect better writing of you. I know this is not an English class, but lots of people, kids included, like you and your writing.

  • baldchip Dec 3, 2012

Suh has made some very poor choices. He needs to understand that such choices are not acceptable in civilized society. By removing him from the field, ie removing his source of income, he might learn that being a ugly goon has it's price.

Concerning Coach M-he was a good man. His basketball knowledge will be missed. He was a real student of ther game of College Hoops.

  • Gunny the Racist Dec 3, 2012

I don't agree with the Chiefs not playing yesterday. There comes a time when you have to move on in life from tragedies, and many times it's best to be surrounded by people that you know and love best, and I really can't think of a better situation that to be on the football field with thousands of fans in support. Did you see the coach working the team yesterday? It was one of his best days as a coach yet. The shock of the event will always be there....the magic of yesterday would have been lost if they didn't do what they do.

..."Why would anyone pull for Suh? He's a POS and should be run out of the NFL. Someone should press criminal charges against him as well for his on the field actions..."

As long as the NFL continues to support such trash...the rest will do the same thing...REMEMBER...you can take the boy out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the boy...!!!!
