Not curious in the least to find out who voted for Carmelo Anthony for MVP over LeBron James. Whoever did it is a bozo looking for attention so I don't careNo. But I can see how you might think that if you only applied 5 seconds of analysis and thought. It's not called the best player award, its called the most VALUABLE player award. Regardless of YOUR opinion, the definition of "valuable" is subjective.

I don't think 'Melo deserved it either, but anyone who would think, and then write, what you did is not just is looking up to a bozo. If that's all you got in the analytic and thought department, maybe it's time to move along and start covering puppies and butterflies.

The media questions everything... why not question heart?
Rose was cleared by doctors to play. When he practices there is no evidence that he is still injured. He is still getting paid even though he is not working. I thinkit is okay to question his heart/motive.

If you or I were still sitting out of work (WITH PAY!) after a doctor cleared us to return, don't you think our employer would question our heart Mandy?

Without LeBron, Miami still is a playoff team. Without Carmello, the Knicks are a lottery team.

Mike could have won every year, too. I had no problem with the vote for Anthony. The Knicks won their division for the first time in years, and Melo was the reason for that.

Enjoyed the "sounds of the game" article as well.

I assumed that, just looking for your angle.

I agree with you about questioning the heart. You listed Rose and Deng, and I agree. Some owners and coaches want to win at all costs too often. Think about the many football players that are shoved back on to the field way too soon coming off of a concussion, or another injury.

I'm just saying that anonymous voting conducted a couple of weeks ago makes it hard for anyone to claim this reporter was trying to cause a problem. He was simply voting for the player he thought was most valuable.

    OK, I give up. How?

  • lewiskr45 May 6, 2013

And how is the reporter who voted for Anthony supposed to know that he is the only one not voting for LeBron?

I heard that too. He made a case for his vote, but also said that he was surprised that Durant, Paul or Kobe didn't get a vote or two also.

They had the guy on Mike & Mike this a.m. and his reasoning was solid. It is the Most VALUABLE Player award after all. Pretty tired of people thinking it is the same as a Player of the Year award. If you want to vote for a POY, then change the name of the freakin' award. Otherwise, what a team would be without that player should factor into the vote. Period.

It's called getting impatient at the end of a race & doing something stupid, like trying to block a guy who makes a run on you. The 36 tried to squeeze Stenhouse against the wall as Stenhouse was about to pass him, causing another big wreck at 'Dega.
