Glad that Wall is doing so well. I have a ton of respect for Kobe, and I HATE that he suffered such a serious injury that may even be career ending. Kobe and LeBron are two examples of why kids should be allowed to go from HS to the NBA.

You are right Certainly. Lebron does alot for his community.

I blame ESPN a lot for that fiasco. It was easy to convince him to do something like that when all the money was going to the Boys and Girls Club. I thought it was tacky, but I get it.

  • Toddler10-21 May 6, 2013

Friends you are right. He took the Cavs to the finals, and best record one time. He knew the whole time he was leaving, but waited till the last minute to announce. LeBron said he wishes he would have done it different.

  • Toddler10-21 May 6, 2013

John is doing great. He hasn't forgot where he came from. Asked him abt Kobe, he says that Kobe plays every possession like it's game 7. He also says that Kobe makes the black mamba hissing sound the entire game. LOL. Picked my daughter up today, met coach Stallings from vandy. I had a pirate cap on. He asked if I was a pirate fan. Told him the P was for Pittsburgh as in the Steelers. Lol. His son is in the pirate organization.

This man gets paid to entertain, so it always confused me when someone got upset over the whole "Decision" spectacle. He is the new Greatest of All Time, no one can stop him, he came straight out of high school and took Cleveland from the basement to the NBA finals. He didn't have a Scottie Pippen, a Dennis Rodman or even a Shaq. He gave Cleveland more than it could've asked for, but yet they would not surround him with the pieces to win championships.

But really, what is the issue with the best player in the sport announcing, on live tv, where he is going to play next? The anticipation was there, people tuned in. I guess we need to tell ESPNU to drop the whole National Signing day - those selfish high schoolers want to parade their decision all over national tv like someone wants to know.

Toddler - gotta say you meet the coolest sports people! How is John Wall doing?

  • Toddler10-21 May 6, 2013

I hated the Cleveland leave also. It was the way it happened. LeBron has grown a lot. Talked to john wall last week. He also rides a bike to and from the arena.

  • corey3rd2 May 6, 2013

Carmelo had to play knowing that fans were going to chant Honey Nut Cheerios during the game. He deserved a vote for dragging the Knicks into the playoffs.

  • heelsforever May 6, 2013

He seems to be a much nicer guy than most of have won multiple MVP's.

While I appreciated that LeBron honored his contract with Cleveland, I hated "The Decision" and held a grudge against King James - until last year's NBA playoffs. After watching how hard he worked, what a great teammate he is and the tremendous talent James has, I've become a fan. LeBron deserves all the accolades and awards he receives.

  • Packman24 May 6, 2013

    Congrats Lebron...many more to come!!

  • rushbot May 6, 2013

I was not a fan when he left cleveland, but his off court behaviors down in MIA have made me one..none of the other multi-zillionaires ride their BIKE home after the game...

  • BuglessDuster May 6, 2013

It was a throw-away vote. There's no way LeBron wasn't going to win the MVP.
