Have to disagree, how many uncatchable balls did Cam throw today? Has anybody noticed how many ACC players were on the Bill's team. I counted 16 not counting the one from Louiville or part time future Notre Dame. The Panthers have what 3 players from the ACC

  • reynoldslinwood Sep 15, 2013

Under the current status of this team, I would not attend one of their games if someone gave me a ticket, fuel and eating money. Not worth my time to see these clowns perform or lack of.

  • canesnc Sep 15, 2013

Oh by the way. For those saying sit Cam. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!! The owner will not allow it!!! Paying him too much money to sit the bench!! Not saying that is not the right thing to do but it will not happen!!!

Cam 229 Yds. passing, 2 TD's no Interceptions

Rivera 3 chickensh!t calls in the Red Zone in forth quarter.

The problem isn't Cam. It's coaching and team management. Cam will not re-sign with Panthers and will go to a team that is willing and ready to invest in a team designed to accentuate his talents.

  • canesnc Sep 15, 2013

Let Rivera finish out the season because too late to make a change that will make any difference. Then hire Bill Cowher as you new coach before Pittsburgh grabs him back. Need a coach that will get in some of these guys faces that don't play hard and make stupid mistakes!!! If Rivera wants to continue coaching first thing he needs to do is fire David Shula on the way home on the plane!! Next game is a very losable game!! 0-3 at their break. Good time to fire the coach so that the new coach has time to try and undo what Rivera has done. Of course who are you going to hand the keys to??? Shula?????

This kid can win in the NFL but you can not ask him to make sharp passess and decisions until he matures. Start Anderson, put points on the board, support the great defense and this is a playoff team, regardless of starting 0-2.

  • blackjack224 Sep 15, 2013

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE FIRE RIVERA!!! Bring in Bill Cowher!

  • afrocine2 Sep 15, 2013

I agree with some of this, Shula shouldl be gone. Newton must be benched. Rivera can stay because this is a good football team, deep playoff team with the right QB. They just have a QB who has a lot of seasoning to do. Everybody is not a precision QB, Cam is not, I wish he was, I really wish he was.

  • reynoldslinwood Sep 15, 2013

I am not surprised by the results. I know now why Rivera was overlooked for a head coaching job for so many years. There has got to be a better solution than Rivera. The whole coaching staff needs to pack up and get out of town.

  • joeBob Sep 15, 2013

Epic fail. Man when U cant even beat the Bills...

  • eoglane Sep 15, 2013

CAROLINA FAN SAYS GO BILLS, WE DO NOT HAVE A TEAM, JUST LOSERS

  • eoglane Sep 15, 2013

hire TEBOW he will do a much better than this loser of Quarterback Fig Newton

  • afrocine2 Sep 15, 2013

Do not move this team out of the Carolina's. Everybody loses, we have to have faith. However, Derek Anderson is the answer. I love Cam but he holds the ball too long and misses too many scoring opportunities.

  • eoglane Sep 15, 2013

newton is not evening trying, but the entire team sucks. Please move this trash out of The Carolina's please

  • Big Mike Sep 15, 2013

Choke City baby!...What else is new??? Panthers doing what Panthers do...Lose!

  • PanthersFan45 Sep 15, 2013

Horrible ..... coaching is pitiful, Rivera will NOT make it though this season. He'll be fired, its a matter of "when". No excuse for letting a team march down the field with no time-outs left and score a TD to pull it out. Buffalo had a rookie QB and rookie Head Coach take it to them in the final seconds. If the Panthers start out 1-5 or worse, the usual crowd will be saying Rivera deserves another year if the Panthers finish 7-9 again .... wake up people.

  • VT1994Hokie Sep 15, 2013

The Panthers can't close a game. No way to lose this one. EJ Manuel made some mistakes, but he cashed in for the win.

  • kornfan2448 Sep 15, 2013

    Panthers just being the Panthers.

  • hsiflee Sep 15, 2013

nice defense...I got him, no you take him...

  • Toddler10-21 Sep 15, 2013

Its cams fault, its cams fault, its cams fault!

  • Lost and Loaded Sep 15, 2013

    FIRE RON RIVERA NOW!

Absolute travesty of a coach - failed to go for a touchdown 3 times while in the Buffalo red zone in the 4th quarter. He doesn't want to win and he's too afraid of losing.

What a joke of coach - how any owner would keep after today's game is mind boggling.

  • gwnunn Sep 15, 2013

Rivera and Shular should be fired. Cam Newton should be benched. Maybe that will work, nothing else does.

  • ACC22 Sep 15, 2013

Ron another reminder make sure your resume is up to date

  • Deacons Sep 15, 2013

This teams sucks like they have have since their Super Bowl run. I am sick of it. Go Seahawks!

  • wkmeekins Sep 15, 2013

Is that 3 sacks for Mario?

  • kornfan2448 Sep 15, 2013

What an ugly game. Not a Panthers fan, but how can they look so good in a loss to a VERY good Seattle team and look like this against Buffalo? Seems they always play to the level of their competition. I thought for sure Carolina would win this game, and they still may, but I figured they'd look a lot better doing it.

I agree Cam will throw a couple of ints but even the Panthers should win this game.

as someone said yesterday Cam's strengths don't go above his shoulders. Don't know why you fire a coach because a team doesn't play well, seems to me you would be better off firing the players who refuse to preform to expectations. In the real world you get fired from your job if you don't meet expectations rarely does your boss

Cam is still meant to play TE or H-back in this league

Prediction......Cam throws at least two interceptions Bills 17 Panthers 14

  • Wheelman Sep 15, 2013

If they don't stop running an offense that doesn't play to and use Newton's strengths, they will be looking at more than 0-2. Rivera will be gone and Cam will leave for an operation that isn't afraid to spend the money to build a team that can play to his strengths. I mean, why would Cam want to stay around?

  • StunGunn Sep 15, 2013

I'm not pressing the panic button, but I consider this a "must win" game for the Panthers. The Bills are vulnerable and the Panthers really need to capitalize and get the win. Starting the season 0-2 will spell trouble for Rivera & Company.
