Miami will be lucky to get in the top 13. Forget top 3.

    Agreed......it did make me chuckle.

Glad to hear it! Sometimes people need to relax and laugh a little more on here (especially Hokie). Where is that dude, anyway? He lost it one day, and I can't recall seeing him here ever since.

  • LUKECAGE Oct 2, 2013

UNC, Duke, Syracuse will probably finish in either of the top 3 spots of the ACC. Do not be surprised if either FSU or Miami can get in the top 3, with Syracuse being on the outs. NC State should be in the top half of the ACC, and could surprise some folks now that Got-Fried has some coachable players. UNC has a tough non-conference schedule with Louisville, Kentucky, Michigan State, Texas, and Davidson. Definitely looking forward to the game between Kansas and Duke. Wiggins comes in with all of the "Harrison Barnes-hype", and I'm looking forward to see how he handles it. Parker will be solid for Duke, but a one-and-done, along with Wiggins.

OK, that did make me laugh.

Not just NC State games -- they're also reduced to critiquing the NFL performances of ex-Pack players to try to make themselves feel better! LOL

TJ Yates is over there holding a clipboard and they're trying to talk smack about Glennon (the new STARTER at QB for the Bucs, mind you!) You can't make this stuff up, I swear!

And these are the same folks that claim we're not their rivals, and that we are obsessed with THEM.

Again, you just can't make this stuff up!

WRAL is the mouthpiece of Carolina. So yes, this article is an indication that the white flag has been waved for football at Carolina.

And they even wrote an article or two about State and Duke to cover their true feelings! :)

In a related story, the rookies were not impressed by the returning Tar Heels.

Who is this buster102007 with silly posts?

  • heelsforever Oct 1, 2013

Probably more like UNC and 2-4 others fighting for 3rd, and all the others fighting for the bottom of the ACC.

  • heelsforever Oct 1, 2013

Guess the same applies to State since WRAL did a story on NCS basketball within the last couple of days.

    LOL at you.

  • ezme22 Oct 1, 2013

LOL at the mooers! Don't worry fellas, your twice a season(at least) beat downs at the hands of the Flagship are coming. Meanwhile, hope your ear ring wearing Dora can feed enough PEDs to the gridiron mooers to outscore UNC so you can at least salvage an iota of pride. Beating up on the Campbells of the world must be big for you ladies. Tell ya this, kicking that moo out of the CWS was fun, fun, fun and I can't wait for the next round of gut stomps to ensue! Lollers!

just love the way these abc fans love the heels deep down..

  • buster102007 Oct 1, 2013

Happens every year. Lets hype up the tarholes so that it is even more satisfying when they crumble and implode once again. Mark my word, you will be asking for cry baby roy to be fired within two years.

  • tgriffin45 Oct 1, 2013

Well poo poo Pack...atleast we have a basketball team,,,,

  • buster102007 Oct 1, 2013

carolina's football season is down the toilet so carolina fans now look forward to NC State games hoping they lose. Pathetic.

Because WRAL did an article on UNC basketball? I'm looking forward to State fan meltdown next week when Wake Forest does their usual business to the mighty Division II champs from Raleigh

  • StunGunn Oct 1, 2013

Meeks sounds a little like Sean May - hope he keeps shedding the LBS. The Heels can use some size as Paige, Tokoto, and a few other guys don't have much bulk.

The ACC is going to be very competitive this year.

  • Maxxx Oct 1, 2013

"The tangible difference for the 6-foot-9 forward has been in shedding 25 pounds, down from 317 to 292, Williams said."

Yeah. Now he only has 40 more pounds to go!!!

  • Turheel Oct 1, 2013

I hope they are good contributors, because the Heels are going to need a lot of players to improve over last year. It's Duke, Syracuse and everyone else fighting for 3rd place the way I see it. GO HEELS!
