Why should Pack fans show up? To support their team and their school when they are needed.

On the other hand, if you aren't a fan, but just a consumer of entertainment events, supporting your team doesn't matter to you. Being entertained is all that matters. If the folks at Carolina or Duke are playing ball at a higher level, maybe that's where you should be spending your entertainment dollars. Or just go to the movies.

Only fans support their team in bad times as well as good.

Plus, there aren't many bad seats at the football stadium. If you're way up in the rafters at a basketball game, you really need binoculars to be able to follow it well.

Yes, but football is different. It's a whole-day event, with tailgating, socializing, etc. In basketball, you pretty much show up for the game, and leave a couple hours later. It's not the event that a football game is.

There are tickets available, I beg the State fans on here to buy them up.

  • jandscroom Feb 23, 2011

If I had tickets, I would be there!

    GO PACK!!

Agreed, product on the court does not warrant that. I have no problem paying $50 for a football tix, though....

  • yurnodiffrent Feb 23, 2011

That's a good question, Jeff. Hmmm, that depends . . . Is it free John Deere hat night?

  • TruthBKnown Banned Again02 Feb 23, 2011

I'd buy tickets for me and my wife if they weren't $40+ per ticket. Ridiculous.

  • r u crazy too Feb 23, 2011

I understand that Pack basketball is not what it has been, but seems to me that fans support their teams through good time and bad. You buy tickets,.... you go to games, and support your team.

  • PACKFAN08 Feb 23, 2011

Why should 'Pack fans show up Jeff?

Also, why should the RBC center be sold out every game? the product on the court has not warranted sold out games...

I didnt see you asking where all the Carolina fans were last season, when there were plenty of empties in the Smith Center....

I would either sale my ticket to another State fan, or I would let it go wasted before selling it to a possible Carolina fan....

Keep stirring the pot Jeff...if Duke and Carolina would of had the mediocrity of what we have dealt with the last 20+ years, I doubt Cameron, and the Dean Dome would be sold out every game....
