North Carolina football signee Avery Edwards was arrested for felony larceny Thursday by Wake County Deputies.
Edwards' arrest is part of an ongoing investigation where jewelry, mostly watches, were stolen from a residence in May.
The 18-year-old tight end is a three star prospect out of Ravenscroft High School and a part of the Tar Heels 2014 incoming class.
At 6-5, 230 pounds Edwards caught 45 passes for 629 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior.
