Giovani Bernard, the ACC’s leading rusher with 1,228 yards and 12 touchdowns, was named the first-team running back as well as the first-team specialist. Bernard has also added 490 receiving yards with five touchdowns and 263 punt return yards with two touchdowns to his stat sheet.

UNC lineman Jonathan Cooper, who was named the Jacobs Blocking Trophy winner as the conference’s top lineman, was named to the first team along with linebacker Kevin Reddick and defensive lineman Sylvester Williams.

NC State safety Earl Wolff was also named to the first team along with Duke corner back Ross Cockrell and punter Will Monday.

Monday, a redshirt freshman, leads the ACC and ranks 14th in the nation in net punting average at 44.12. He has also compiled 63 tackles, four tackles for loss and 12 pass breakups.

All six of Clemson’s first-team selections were on offense, led by quarterback Tajh Boyd and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

he got burned too much this yr, but he did lead the acc in picks for the 2nd yr in a row, including one pick 6, and another that was erroneously called back

RE: UNC players notch 5 All-ACC 1st-Team spots; Duke earns two, NC State one

The voters in the ACC have lost all credibility...Connor Vernon on second team????? I don't care if Duke is 6-6, without him they may only have 2 wins. Voters. ..you can resume your African American studies now!!
