The one in 2010 doesn't really prove coach rats coaching abilities. Couldn't have had an easier road to the title unless they were playing in the rec leagues.

Like I've said before......we are tied for first, ranked in the top 10 and are going to go to the dance.......with multiple injuries......and a bad coach! Lol! This is truly a bad year for Carolina!
You were also pre-season #1; had all five starters returning from 2011 and the top two reserves + 2 McDonald's AA's in Hariston and McAdoo. Can't say that constitutes over-achieving, can we?

So if a coach lets an opposing team go on an 11-0 run in the last 3:07 of a game and subsequently lose that game, then he must be a pretty sorry coach, right?? Just curious! :))

Well, this particular scenario happened to Dook at UNC in March of 2005. I guess that makes the almighty Coach K a pretty sorry coach!! Just saying!!

No wonder ABCers refer to some UNC fans as "Cry-o-whina". They're not going to execute perfectly every time down the court.

Roy has won 80% of his games and has 2 Titles in 8 years at UNC. K has 32 years at Duke, won 79% of his games and has 4 Titles. Dean had 36 years at UNC, won 77% of his games and had 2 Titles. Roy is doing a great job for a man who cannot coach. Late game situations should not be an issue with this or any team. 1. Continue to execute your offense, 2. Hit your free throws. How hard can that be? Is this not the same sort of execution done during normal game flow? The only reason they lost that game to Duke was due to missed free throws. Had they continued to play as they had the whole game and not slowed down their offense, it would have been a 20+ point beat down. That is the area this team is deficient. They need to finish a team when they have them on the ropes. I saw in last nights game that Marshall wanted to run with less than 4 minutes left in the game. That is what Roy's teams do best. I appreciate all of the concern by the ABC'ers, but this team will be fine. Roy will COACH them to many more victories before he decides to call it a career.
