Not Matter what - Do Not let TBK read this web page.

RE: Not Matter what - Do Not let TBK read this web page.

TOBy better hope recruits don't read it. That will take away his biggest lie as a recruiting tool.

TOBY's recruits can't read, so no problem there. Kidding! Sorry, I couldn't resist.

jgunn, there's a dark gothic edge emerging instead of your usual kindness. We don't want you to become Ghost of Ramses Light. "Kuweka ni nzuri" is Swahili for "Keep it nice".

Of course these sanctions aren't going to scare anyone away. The NCAA had a chance to send a message (that the crime is not worth the time), and chose not to. They gave a one-year bowl ban AFTER players had committed. And those players likely won't play much their freshman year anyway. To have any teeth at all, they needed a 2-year ban. All this postseason ban does is penalize a few innocent players, and the fans that don't get to go to a bowl game. I knew it wouldn't impact recruiting in the slightest.

But there's a limit on scholarships. And you guys lost your cheating coaches. That was the biggest penalty at all. And there's no doubt Butch's players that are still with the program cannot help themselves. They will do something stupid in the next couple of years, and this time it will be while the program is on probation. If I were you, I would not breathe easy.

I actually think the NCAA screwed the incoming class by waiting until after signing day to announce sanctions. Sure, the recruits are sticking with UNC and many would have no matter what. But there is no doubt some of them would have taken other opportunities that now don't exist due to the classes already being filled. Hopefully they don't hold too much resentment and end up having a good experience in Chapel Hill. And I think they will when they get there and start chasing the college girls around ;) That has a way of brightening the outlook of an 18 year old guy.

I will attend a memorial service should TBK,um, not make it. I love that little Badger:)

RE: Not Matter what - Do Not let TBK read this web page.

I thought this was the story that would concern TBK:

It is all about sacrifices required to protect the bovine herds.

No worries, NCSU, trash isn't really my thing, unless someone gets nasty.

LOL @ "I knew it wouldn't impact recruiting in the slightest."

I wonder how many TBK posts I could find, if I liked wasting my time, where the lil critter yapped about the current recruits bailing or new recruits choosing another program?

100's i'd bet going back to the beginning of it all. poor lil thing has been pure giddy over the UNC football program dropping to the d00k level but it ain't gonna happen. hang in there critter, and just be happy that state fans have anything at all to cheer about.

Busted!

LMAO! Dude seriously had thousands of meaningless posts on the subject for months and years saying how the death penalty was coming and how the ramifications of such a harsh punishment was going to ruin Carolina football. Now he knew different.
BWAAAAAA HAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA
What a bag, D

100s? Dang Ligg, you have a heart of gold. I think the posts on Tar Heel recriting demise started at about 18K and ended about 26k. So he got 8k of post mileage out of that one subject. He's in critter therapy over the final outcome, with a special appearance on The Dog Whisperer, and Cesar Milan is going to do a intervention with the Badger.
