Not Matter what - Do Not let TBK read this web page.

I'm afraid it may kill him.

Conventional wisdom suggested the announcement of NCAA sanctions last week would cause North Carolina's committed prospects to rethink their decision.

It hasn't happened.

Not only has North Carolina not lost any recruits since receiving penalties that included a one-year bowl ban, the Tar Heels actually gained a couple. Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett all-purpose athlete Donnie Miles and Charlotte Mallard Creek cornerback Brian Walker committed to the Tar Heels over the last few days.

LOL! Luv it!

Still The Flagship!!

WOOOOOOOOT!!!!

always the Flagship!

TOBy better hope recruits don't read it. That will take away his biggest lie as a recruiting tool.

Of course these sanctions aren't going to scare anyone away. The NCAA had a chance to send a message (that the crime is not worth the time), and chose not to. They gave a one-year bowl ban AFTER players had committed. And those players likely won't play much their freshman year anyway. To have any teeth at all, they needed a 2-year ban. All this postseason ban does is penalize a few innocent players, and the fans that don't get to go to a bowl game. I knew it wouldn't impact recruiting in the slightest.

But there's a limit on scholarships. And you guys lost your cheating coaches. That was the biggest penalty at all. And there's no doubt Butch's players that are still with the program cannot help themselves. They will do something stupid in the next couple of years, and this time it will be while the program is on probation. If I were you, I would not breathe easy.

When the sanctions came down, I told my son who is a UNC graduate that a one year Bowl Game ban was pretty light. I expected at least 2 years like TBK just stated. UNC came out OK with this deal.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Wha, wha, whaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

DebbieSac is being kept in a padded cell upon news that his prediction of Tar Heel recruiting detruction did not come to pass and his fragile ego could not handle being found so wrong. I think I remember him using the words "dozens"? Old Badger was predicting the end of civiilized football recruiting at UNC also. What is sad is that these Wolfpups never man up and admit they were wrong and humble themselves before The Great Rameses Spirit. They keep kicking the hate can down the road hoping it will prove out, when the can is just a Red Rage illusion.

TOBY's recruits can't read, so no problem there. Kidding! Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Why should State worry? Butch had much better Recuriting classes every year! Top 10 what about every year? So why should State worry now? Nothing has changed but the name of the coach! Don't think anyone in Raleigh is afraid. Actually it just gives them even more motivation to play harder.
