A fact covered on the Dave Glenn show about 2pm. He made a big deal out of it due to everyone crying about refs. So if you don't believe Mr. Glenn I can't help. Don't have time to research for the link you need so will you take an IOU? @;~)
He probably then went on to talk about the "lovely and talented Maria", and mentioned several times that he was a lawyer, and that he has been covering the ACC for 20 some years and knows more about the ACC than anyone else. The guy was good when he was a guest on other people's shows, but since he has gotten his own show he is intolerable. I can't believe they got rid of Bomani Jones for that blow hard. Thankfully they don't play his show till 7 pm here in Charlotte and provide better options for sports radio during the day.
DG isn't bad - but then again I don't really have a lot to compare it too as far as local sports radio goes - I like the show because its locally topical but I could really do without the incessant adds about feeding the pig, Rebbecca Romaine loves helping needy children, and that'snotcool.whatever.
Also - they didn't get rid of Bomani - he got promoted to the SHOW! He's got his own nationally syndicated radio show (on satellite I think) and he's showing up on ESPN a lot these days - Go JONES!
When his show first started I listened every day and he gradually began to get under my skin till I couldn't stand the sound of his voice anymore. I didn't know that about Bomani, that's great. I know alot of State fans couldn't stand him but I thought he was hilarious. Him and Packman were my guys that I listened too every day, now they both are gone from the local markets. Taylor Z isn't too bad and at least QCB is still there. Guess DG is kind of like Rome, either you love him or you hate him.

So wait, a second, wasn't the point of you starting this thread to essentially say that State fans are the only ones with problems with ACC officials? But now you are changing your tune and agreeing that officials of this conference are bad??? Make up your mind.

I actually think the officials are missing so many calls because they are fatigued. I'm not the team with an AD and a coach calling out the officiating nor a fanbase going nuts over officiating being set up by John Swofford to keep the Pack down. You want me to classify you with the NCSU fans that wanted to lynch Ty Lawson? Nope, did not think so. It would be fine with me if they arrested everyone of those folks and threw them in jail for libel and making threats of harm. No glass house here dude. Fact: Gottfreid made a comment about getting "fresh refs".
Fact: Debbie Yow sends a letter to the commish about refing and Roys BB gun comment. The comments and letter continue to stir up the worst reactions.
Fact: The number of posts from nutjobs coming out of the woodwork after the Pack loss about a Swofford referee conspiracy was off the charts. It dominated the talk forums for days.
Fact: Many Pack fans feel robbed after the last UNC game.
Fact: ACC refs (primary and secondary) are calling Sweet 16 games. These are the same refs that a plethora of Pack fans believe are in cahoots with Karl Hess to get back at NCSU.
Theory: If the Pack loses to Kansas or UNC and an ACC ref makes a tough call that does not go the way the Wolfpups sees it, there will be a riot.
Modification: "...nor many in the fanbase..." (I usually catch that)
Decision: You can condemn them, ignore them, or join them, your choice.
Fact: I condemned the stoopid twitter posts by those in my fanbase.
Fact: Red Rage exists because it's base belief is HATE on players and fans. (Note: Danl "HATES" Henson the "punk".
Fact: There are Dark Blue and Sky Blue Ragers.
Fact: Refing has a subjective edge to it, and not all calls are black and white, or Wolfpack Red and Tar Heel Blue.
Decision: Throw me in with the lunatic fringe of the Tar Heels if you want. No worries.
Fact: There have been stories from Sports Analysts that no one does crazy like the NCSU fanbase can do crazy.
Fact: I just flame the haters and conspiracy theorists.
Fact: Red Rage is a disease listed by the CDC is highly toxic. (ok, that is subjective thought)

I like the one where the State fan sent in the message saying Marshall's injury was a hoax designed by Roy to draw media attention away from State making the Sweet 16.
Now, you bet your azz I'm pulling for State tonight, but you've got to admit you have a few fans with more than one screw loose.

I can relate to some of what cuss mikemeout stated. It will become sanctioned when enough coaches, University Presidents's, AD's, and the many powers of the Board of Governor's can see what officals have in their power in calling a game. Officials can dictake the outcome. Coaches can also intimidate officals to win a game. Coach K is the best. Dean Smith milked them too in his day too. Primary or Secondary officials should be evaluated after each game. Grade them out. Then. Cut to the chase. It's called firing and hiring.
I'll bet that your check is worth more as a graduate vs any fan on here. My money and the many in your family certainly has a larger voice vs the UNC fans that didn't give to the University. Some write like they have arrived to the UNC family with the many comments[/i It's all about giving to UNC.
I wonder how many of the UNC fans that write so many on here have given monies to enhance UNC...

Hokie is like a flag or kite! Whichever way the wind blows, that's where he is going! I remember back in 08-09 when UNC was the odds on favorite to win the title, he was on here hanging from Roy's boys talking about how he had always been a Carolina fan. He just happened to go to VT for school. Talking about how Roy was a great coach and such. Then 09-10 hits and he is on here talking about how much Roy sucks and how he's never liked him. He's an arrogant jackwagon who could never hold a candle to Dean or K. Now he is talking about how Roy is a great coach again after dealing with all the injuries and still having a chance to win it all. Pick a side and stick with it. Quit flopping about like a fish out of water. I for one, don't care how much money he has spent to put his son through UNC. It still does not give his opinion more status or importance.
I will give Hokie one thing though. He must be extremely flexible with as much smoke as he blows up his own hindparts.
He's had a hard time remembering which rear ends he wants to kiss lately.

I miss listening to Taylor Zarzour! I don't get a great AM signal where I live now - used to have a better signal when Zarzour was on 620 in the 6 - 9 am time slot. Zarzour does a great job. QCB is very entertaining.
