    I would hardly call a 4 year $94,000,000 deal a "bust".

Not sure if you saw the graphic of most wins by a school the last 15 years.

    Of course Duke was #1.

You'll have to forgive these guys for wanting to talk about the past. It's a better conversation for them to have than talking about badly Duke has outperformed them over the last 5 years and how much better the Duke pros entering the league in the last 14 years are doing than UNC players. It's like a couple of Romans sitting around in 470 AD talking about how awesome Augustus is.

You have nothing that indicates the money Thomas used for his down payment for the goods in question was an impermissible benefit. You have nothing to indicate the terms of the loan were an impermissible benefit. You do have proof that UNC had fraudulent classes in the same major that was prevalent on team members in the 1993, 2005, and 2009 teams.

I believe what you meant to say is that you haven't been able to compete ever since Roy's boy Wayne Walden left and the new academic adviser who was appalled at the academic practices in place took over.

One thing we do know is that they'll be more successful than their Tar Heel brethren since Duke has consistently put out better pros than UNC for the last 14 years.

Yeah, they are right and everyone else is wrong. K's class is 1 because of having 4 players. We will see how K's recruits pan out, if they leave early they might actually be successful at the next level.

Yes, an upset loss in the NCAA Tournament stinks. Not as much as missing the tournament altogether and ending up in the NIT though. Or going unranked for over a 1/3rd of the time while watching your rivals ranked in the top 10 93% of the time and never going unranked. Or going 2-7 against them. Or watching them win a National Championship. Or watching their coach surpass your best coach for most wins of all time. Or watching them finished ranked higher than you 3 out of 4 seasons.

But you'll always have Lehigh, Ilsa.

    Pretty funny stuff considering -

Harrison Barnes, #1 in his HS Class, Miles Plumlee #81 in his HS Class, 2014 Advanced Stats:

    PER - Plumlee 15.1, Barnes 10.3
    TS% - Plumlee 52, Barnes 50
    eFG% - Plumlee 51, Barnes 46
    OR% - Plumlee 10.4, Barnes 3.1
    DR% - Plumlee 24.2, Barnes 12.1
    TR% - Plumlee 17.3, Barnes 7.7
    Ast% - Plumlee 3.2, Barnes 7 Stl% - Plumlee 1.2, Barnes 1.5 Blk% - Plumlee 4, Barnes .5 TOV% - Plumlee 13.9, Barnes 10.5 ORtg - Plumlee 103, Barnes 101 DRtg - Plumlee 102, Barnes 104 OWS - Plumlee .9, Barnes .4 DWS - Plumlee 2, Barnes 1.7 WS - Plumlee 2.9, Barnes 2.2 WS/48 - Plumlee .10, Barnes .075

So the #81 player in his HS class goes to Duke and is now a more productive pro than the #1 player in his HS class who went to UNC.

The last free information from Van Coleman had Jackson at 7, Pinson at 20, and Berry at 13.
The last free information from Bob Gibbons had Jackson at 10, Pinson at 23, and Berry at 20.

But congratulations on finding the one recruiting index that has Pinson in the top 10. I'm sure they're right and everyone else is wrong. Pinson's a guy who was highly rated early and is a good athlete but his horrendous shooting mechanics and poor ball handling have kept him out of just about everyone's top 10.

    Since the Skype moment:

Duke has won a National Championship.
UNC was relegated to the NIT.
Duke has been ranked in 89 out of the 89 weeks and been in the top 10 in 83 of the 89 polls.
UNC has been unranked in 35 out of the 89 weeks and has been in the top 10 in 31 of the 89 polls.
Duke hasn't been unranked at the end of any of the 4 completed seasons. UNC has been unranked at the end of 2 of the 4 seasons.
Duke has finished ranked ahead of UNC in 3 out of the 4 seasons.
Duke has gone 7-2 against UNC.

Hurt us???? Is there any way we can get him to commit again?

Uh, no... listing all the greats who did not participate in the dunk contest is not a deflection. It directly addresses the inanity of the claim that participating in the dunk competition is some type of honor. Many of the greatest players in the league right now have not participated in the dunk competition so clearly not participating doesn't mean you're not a great player. Many participants in the dunk competition over the years have had rather modest NBA resumes so being great clearly isn't part of the selection criteria. It is the perfect type of type of honor for a two-time preseason first team All-American (and zero time post-season first team All-American).

And if being a two-time NBA All-Star falls beneath the threshold of "making a mark" then no Tar Heel to have come out of UNC in the last 14 years and counting has made a mark.
