If Carolina was healthy, I'd agree that they didn't live up to expectations, but I don't see how anyone could still pick Carolina to win it all with Marshall sidelined, Strickland out for the season (therefore no reliable PG), Henson's wrist on the mend, only to twist his ankle badly in the Kansas game. No excuses - you have to play who you have; the only thing that changed would be those expectations. I would not - and did not - expect Carolina to win it all with the players they had at the end of the season.

when you are the top program it's easy for the little brothers to whine. after all we didn't get swept for 3 games like state, pull a couple of bonehead moves to lose in the tournament; or get embarrassed twice at the end of the season by getting completely spanked on our home floor on national tv, which determined everything at the end of the regular season, and set the stage for the most embarrassing loss in the tournament by one of the bluebloods...so go easy...let them whine.
