Henson, Barnes, and Marshall gone

It first cropped up on several tweets and now is on the WRAL page that John Henson, Harrison Barnes and Kendall Marshall are all going to the draft. Best of luck to all three. We will miss seeing them in Carolina blue, but a new generation of Tar Heels will come in next season and we will cheer for them just as much.

The only person of the three that played the Duke team that won a title was Henson. Barnes and Marshall were high school seniors.

None of them got to the final 4, none of them won the ACCT championship, none of them had a winning record vs Duke.

Congrats on being right. You win, nothing. Henson, IMO, made the only decision he could. I don't think his game would change significantly with another year so he was better off leaving in all likelihood. Barnes, IMO, made the wrong decision from the standpoint of his game, but possibly the best decision for him financially. I think he could've used another year to work on his dribble and drive to the basket. Marshall struck while the iron is hot though I think he could've moved himself up the draft ladder with a full season averaging close to a double-double in points and assists. Best of luck to all 3 and I hope they achieve everything they want in the pros. Expectations will be muted, but I think the team will be better than 2010.

Look, my insider at UNC is not going to give out false information. When I said that there was NO WAY marshall would play in the elite 8 game, i was right. When i said that all 3 were leaving for the pro's, i was right. I may extremely dislike UNC, but i'm not going to false report. SEE YA!
