CJL is not in any drafts because he started really playing well towards the end of the season...you know why? Because he realized there was no way he was going to get drafted if he didn't start showing what he had.....

He has a very big upside, extremely athletic and quick...he needs to work on his jumpshot and rebounding. Players like he and CJ Mccollum from Lehigh solidified their potential in the tourney -

Do you seriously think cjl would have been drafted if he continued to play the way he did the first half of the season .... Really? Calvin is all about CJ - he knew what he had to do and to his credit he has done it

cj is often out of position for the rebound due to the type of shots he attempts. he is often slashing or twisting etc. and he is then out of position due to where his momentum takes him. However, often the other players should be available cuz defenders tend to turn toward that kind of play to stop it...to cj's credit, even when that happens he often makes the shot anyway. I think he justs sometimes needs a "stop, slow down and think" button so he can better determine the odds of making it happen. If's he's wrong then it's usually either a bad shot or a turnover. His will and drive are excellent. If mcadoo goes, I hope he shoots him a tweet about the good life ahead. LOL

Technically, you may be right about mock drafts not meaning anything until we have the list of players leaving early.

But we all heard where Carolina's players were expected BEFORE they declared.

We're not hearing high draft numbers for a potential CJ Leslie. Sorry.

CJL is extremely athletic, that is his major asset ....he needs to develop parts of his game. The NBA drafts as much on potential as they do talent. The decision for elite players is difficult - for the 60 players that will be drafted this year, there is a potential of 60 players losing their slots on NBA rosters...fans will almost always say a player is not ready.
