UNC has sunk to a new low Saturday after fudging their Spring Football Game's score and attendance.
At halftime, UNC gave the Blue team an extra 14pts in an attempt to make Fedora's offense look more effective... errr, I mean, to "make the score closer."
Afterwards, they announced an attendance of 15,000. Although this picture paints a much clearer estimate of probably somewhere around 1,500.

Everyone knows it's tough times at UNC for their football program, but this is just hilarious.

Get a grip! It was a spring game which is basically a overblown practice. This means situational evaluation of the players. The coaching staff obviously wanted the score to be closer to practice these gametime situations. All this tells me is that perhaps the first team is far more advanced that the second team.
I couldn't give a rat's behind about the scoring. I just think it's funny how they turn 4-5K into 17K, and do so with a straight face.

1- WHO adds points to a team's total at halftime to make it more interesting??? LMBAO.... WHO does that???
and
2- LOL @ any club that reports EXACT ATTENDANCE numbers (regular season, of course they're merely estimating at a spring game, so I really don't care) of regular season games!! how embarrassing it must be, to be the ONLY team in the country that has EXACTLY 51,500 or 57,000 (or some other number ALWAYS ending in "0") reported for EVERY home game.... unc's attendance "guru" = BAGHDAD BOB

These pathetic ABCers pulled the exact same thing last year, making spring attendance a "controversy" (only amongst themselves, of course.)

They usually announce attendance at 57,000 for anything that takes place in Kenan - even graduations. I think they hired the estimator that said there were actually one million people at the Million Man March in DC several years ago.

Only UNC would do something like fudging their spring football game attendance, or giving their blue team 14pts at halftime, or leaving their walk-ons on the court after being embarrassed by 33, or going to the NIT, or... or... the list goes on.
I have still yet to see a UNC fan that insists there were 17k in attendance actually provide a picture or something that would make it clear that UNC didn't fudge the numbers.
FUDGING -- it's in UNC's DNA.

"44-21 OMG what a shootout!" "Fedora's really got the offense rolling!" I can hear the delusion already...
What's missing here is that the Blue team actually got their rear-ends handed to them 44-7. Was the 1st team defense really on the Blue side, or did they put both starting units on the White?
Does UNC lack that much depth, or did the defense just have a bad day?
