I think we can all agree that more showed up at Kenan on Saturday than at Carolina's bowl game.

Could the total be cumulative of everyone who came to any part of the event? There is always a lot of coming and going at those events.

LOL...this whole thing is coming from State Fan's nation. LOL...here is the badger's comment on their story...

"It’s almost disturbing that they cannot be more honest in their crowd estimates. What are they afraid of? Why can’t they call it like it is? That they feel it is important enough to lie about speaks volumes about them, and says more about them than it does about the state of their football fan base. If they would lie about something as unimportant as this, what else would they lie about?

I can only think of one reason to lie about this. They must feel like it would hurt their recruiting to have a low turnout for their Spring game. I can’t think of any other reason. And that is the scary part. If they would lie about this for recruiting (assuming I am right in that assessment), then what else would they lie about in their recruiting?

It makes them appear to be willing to do anything to perpetuate the myth of the Carolina Way. The Carolina Way is apparently to lie and do whatever it takes to cover up anything bad. But we already knew that."

And as for the fudging of the score.....

Get a grip! It was a spring game which is basically a overblown practice. This means situational evaluation of the players. The coaching staff obviously wanted the score to be closer to practice these gametime situations. All this tells me is that perhaps the first team is far more advanced that the second team.

I couldn't give a rat's behind about the scoring. I just think it's funny how they turn 4-5K into 17K, and do so with a straight face.

I'd estimate about 15K there - in their seats - not using the restrooms. That would be a hell of a flush if 15K did it at once. You'd hear it all the way in Raleigh if that was the case.
