Because they just do one unbelievable thing after another, and it's just hard to fathom. It's as if they are so concerned about their image that they can't ever be honest about ANYthing that might be perceived as a negative about the university or their athletics programs.
So where is your proof they were not honest? Are you questioning my honesty, Ms. Gunn's honesty, and several other Tar Heels that were there and have confirmed the approximate attendance?
It's not a question of honesty, it's a question of the reliability of the estimation, and eyewitness reports are notoriously unreliable.

Several Tar Heels posted on another threas abou the game before UNC ever came out with the attendance. I even counted the BZ numbers and posted that. Again, why are you or anyone questioning my reliability, ie honesty? Why am I unreliable. Why is JGUNN, one of the most honest posters on here unreliable? Keep in mind, I know that your ultimate goal is to defame and denegrate anything UNC so I DON'T EXPECT HONESTY OUT OF YOU.

but a but of state fans sitting in their respective rooms on computers are...sure. that's the prob with you folks...shouldn't you be MORE concerned with your running back caught doing a 100mph, charged with endangering the public, no license,no registration, no plate,tinted windows, no insurance, no court appearance. Caught with a weed grinder,(ask around, either he smoked a lot or cleaned it for sale, maybe both, take your pick). Haven't seen much outrage over that. guess it would have taken a van full of victims, for you or tbk to spend more time on that, rather than calling these guys, who gave honest answers, liars. Chill out. And maybe if all of you UNC fans immediately had risen up and demanded a clean program, you wouldn't be on probation today. No one has called anyone a liar. Some of us just don't believe the official crowd estimate or the estimates made by fans who were there. An estimate is, by its very nature, not a fact, but an opinion. I disagree with the opinion that 17,000 were in attendance.
P.S. I trust our ex-Marine coach to deal appropriately with any player who runs afoul of the law.
