How many of you UNC fans will be rooting against the USA Basketball team this summer in London, simply because Coach K is the coach?
sure it's a job and K can handle it easily...but let's get serious...he gets to pick and choose from the best players on the planet against everyone else. Real different than when Dean took college players and won the gold medal back. K should win. If it were Roy, or anyone else, they should win also. No contest. I could coach them. After all I've logged hundreds of hours watching them and I know their collective strengths and weaknesses also. Doubt I could come up with a plan that could stop kobe, dwayne, or lebron from being themselves once the ball went up. K doesn't deserve all the s*cking off by the media with all the advantages in the world. Put him in charge of Poland's team and lets see what he can do. HAIt's a no-lose situation for them. If USA loses, it was Coach K's fault. If USA wins, how could he lose with Lebron and Kobe?- Posted by 903 Rogue G I Joe

Probably the same as the number of dookies that would root against USA basketball if Roy Williams were coach.
Rank: Sports Legend sure and I remember all the dookies saying if Roy came back to the ACC, he wouldn't succeed against K. Right. Hmmm...since back, won more titles, gone further in the tournament yr after yr, held his own in durham, and overall...yep. Guess you're right. Hard to get excited over a coach that in 32 yrs can't even manage a winnning record against Carolina, who sent more talent early, and has had 4 different coaches.
