Artest is dirty but he's also one of the best defenders in the league. NBA Defensive Player of the Year (2004), 2x All-Defensive First Team (2004, 2006), 2x All-Defensive Second Team (2003, 2009). Alot of the other players on that list are great defenders too.

Artest is dirty but he's also one of the best defenders in the league. NBA Defensive Player of the Year (2004), 2x All-Defensive First Team (2004, 2006), 2x All-Defensive Second Team (2003, 2009). Alot of the other players on that list are great defenders too.

true. let's face it. there's a lot of cheap stuff that goes on in any competitive endeavor. However, there is crossing the line. every state,in a poll, but calif. thought the penalty was too lenient. if he hit hardin in the temple, there could have been a funeral.

I promise you when the Lakers play OKC again Hardin will get back at Artest!

Blake Griffin is dealing with dirty, cheap shots from every opponent he faces. And he's getting called out by everyone including his own teammates for not standing up for himself. Unfortunately, that's the nature of pro sports. There's alot on the line and as the stakes get higher the rough stuff will just get rougher and rougher. That's why there's a difference between regular season intensity and playoff intensity.

ure it's a job and K can handle it easily...but let's get serious...he gets to pick and choose from the best players on the planet against everyone else. Real different than when Dean took college players and won the gold medal back. K should win. If it were Roy, or anyone else, they should win also. No contest. I could coach them. After all I've logged hundreds of hours watching them and I know their collective strengths and weaknesses also. Doubt I could come up with a plan that could stop kobe, dwayne, or lebron from being themselves once the ball went up. K doesn't deserve all the s*cking off by the media with all the advantages in the world. Put him in charge of Poland's team and lets see what he can do. HA

Here are some of the "great" defenders that appear on the list: Reggie Evans, Jeff Foster, Gerald Henderson, Kevin Love, Anderson Varejao, Eduardo Najera, Ryan Hollins, Jamaal Magloire.
Hall of Fame material...not (bogus assertion from the dookie homer).
