Football Season! Where are you??

RE: Football Season! Where are you??

UNC's spring football practice game has drawn considerable attention on this forum. I guess that is understandable with a new coach and a final decision on the NCAA sanctions. In fact, one of the dookies thought that it was an actual game and already accused the new coach of lying about the score! But it good to see renewed enthusiasm about the football program and I am looking forward to the start of the season this fall.

I agree that Fedora has brought a new level of enthusiasm to Carolina football. Knowing what punishments the NCAA has handed down also helps; at least we finally know what Carolina has to deal with. I'm looking forward to football season, although it may take some time for the players to learn the new offense and adjust to a new coaching staff.

He's a winner and I expect he will take no prisoners once he gets the personnel he wants. the other exciting thing is I believe he will actually use some of the skill players we haven't really seen much of...morris,mw,blue,etc.

RE: Football Season! Where are you??

This one isn't dying for lack of sporting events. It's dying because of childish smack talk and lack of imagination.

It wasn't so much a lie as it was a changing of the score. But it was probably for "situational practice" purposes. He probably wanted to see how his first team offense would handle a tied or close game. So he had to tack on some points to make that "situation" happen.

It just seems kind of funny. I've never heard of a coach giving unearned points in a scrimmage game like that.

LOL. Sure. I am looking forward to him keeping the streak alive, though.
