1- The article says nothing about bball players. It only references fball players.
2- Please spare me all of the "I wondered why for decades no players were ever academically ineligible". 10 to one you never even thought about it until this came out.
3-The report also stated that there is no evidence that student-athletes received more favorable treatment than students who were not athletes. It also said that no student received a grade without doing course work.
4- Nearly all the problem courses took place in the summer sessions of 2007, 2008 and 2009. They are a small minority of the nearly 620 courses taught during that period.
5- Nyang'oro has a law degree from Duke University, so this is all Duke's fault :)

I'm sure there's not a chance in Hades that any athletes benefited from this alleged fraud. ESPECIALLY not the basketball players. No way, no how. Football players all day long, but no basketball players.

The beauty of it is that there are hard, fast academic records of what classes were taken by what athlete.

Can you smell that?

It's the sweet smell of VINDICATION wafting through the air.

I will say this, though. N-guy (I have no clue how to spell his name and don't feel like looking it up) is rotten to the core. Glad he's gone. He may have simply been trying to help students by changing grades, etc, but that's not the way you're supposed to do it. Like I said, if a typical student is having trouble passing African American Studies classes, they don't belong at UNC in the first place.

dude, this has nothing to do with Duke. Get a grip...get a life. This looks bad, not just for UNC, but for all UNC system universities and the ACC. I hate Carolina, everyone knows, but I don't want to see stuff like this in my state. I just don't. Get over your obsession of Duke. This is something your school did, not them.

Dook grad and Dook cheats. You can't bring a cheating Dookie into a good school and expect good results. The only Dook grad to become president resigned in disgrace. Dook has a culture of cheating and fraud going back decades.

That's student cheating in legitimate classes. I asked for links to other instances of phantom grades in phantom classes with phantom professors.

They have none, though there has been strong evidence over the years that cheating academically is standard at NCheatSU.
