NCAA must investigate this. The basketball team is heavily involved. NCAA sanctions, loss of scholarships, post-season bans, ineligible players.... this needs to happen. The NCAA is watching carefully, and they may just make a trip back to Chapel Hill this year

Didn't say that at all. I really don't know.

But I'm not the one making claims about how involved they are or what sanctions are forthcoming.

Given the number of applications, acceptance rate and quality of admitted class, doesn't appear that the football saga has hurt UNC at all. Whether or not the current issues with the AA studies program will remains to be seen. But it does not appear that the reputation has been damaged among students wanting to attend.

Of course it doesn't hurt number of applications. There are all sorts of people that want to find a diploma mill to "earn" their college degree without doing the actual work.

If an academic department was able to operate as long as it did with the amount of corruption that's been reported, then there's no telling what else may have been enabled throughout the entire institution. Perhaps, an internal investigation of the entire institution would reveal more issues than just this one.

I agree. The NCAA needs to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the entire university.

There's no telling how many other professors have been Nyang'oro'd.
