Check out the N&O. I've been saying this was the root of the problem over there for years. Almost every fb & bb player enroll in AA Studies or Communications. I wondered why for decades no players were ever academically ineligible. Never. Now we know why. Bogus classes. Easy A's. Fraudulant programs to help players stay eligible & post fraud grad rates. What a mockery of college athletics.

ZenBiff, When illiterate Dwight Jones can graduate from UNC in four years with a degree in African American studies, but couldn't graduate from a Alamance County high school in four years, this is about athletics. Your boy had to graduate from some online Butch Davis High School correspondence program to even play college football. Clemson wouldn't even accept that garbage. Only Valdosta State & UNC would.

I've lived here for almost 40 yrs. Name me the fb or bb players over those decades that have ever been academically. Can't think of one. Oh and I know the fb players brought attention to this, but look at the bb player majors over the last 20 yrs. 80+% are AA Studies or Communications. Both comically easy. Everyone knows fb & bb players never hang out together at colleges. I'm sure just the fb players were abusing this

... to think that UNC's basketball players did not get passed along as well is patently ridiculous, this corruption thing goes deep, it's been around for quite awhile at the "U" of NC, it's now come to the undeniable light of day, a legacy of repugnant institutionalized deceit.

Nyango'ro must have learned his cheating ways from the massive scandal that rocked Duke a few years ago.

dude, this has nothing to do with Duke. Get a grip...get a life. This looks bad, not just for UNC, but for all UNC system universities and the ACC. I hate Carolina, everyone knows, but I don't want to see stuff like this in my state. I just don't. Get over your obsession of Duke. This is something your school did, not them.
