Is that you sassy? slap

RE: flag ship U hit with another torpedo

Maybe it was Marvin Austin that called the NCAA. He said he might spill the beans if McAdoo didn't get reinstated.

How is The Carolina Way tainted? It's a philosophy, a set of ideals to espouse to. So unless you can prove that service to the community, being collegial, practicing/playing hard and unselfish are "tainted" ideals, I'll have to call you on this one. Now if you want to say that individuals are tarnishing or soiling the image of The Carolina Way, then I might go with that. However the actions of a few (ex: priests, soldiers) usually don't trump the good work of an organization (ex: Catholic Church, Marine Corp.). All organizations such as UNC, The Catholic Church, Penn State, Miami, US Army, US Marines, want all associated with their name to act honorably and responsibly and set an example of high ideals. There will always be some that fall short (see Easley, Neilsen, Oblinger, Campbell, Gerlatch, Willis) and vehemently deny any wrongdoing even in the face of overwhelming public outcry and evidence (see NCSU Mary Easley scandal). Don't see the Marines abandoning "Semper Fidelis" just because a few Marines acted dishonorably in Iraq/Afghanistan.

If it was a one-time thing, then yes I would agree with you. However, as more of your dirty laundry comes out, it appears that the carolina way is nothing more than a facade.

What a homer! The Titanic reference works great as an iceberg is like the trouble UNC has right now. Only 10% is exposed.
