it is sad.

the funny part is the "holier than thou" attitude that eminates from pastel u..... and how this SMACKS in the face of that.

most things about unc (of late) are of the SAD variety.

tough break for them.

I highly recommend his book he wrote that talked about his time at Unc. Said he never went to class and did drugs, got benefits. I guess everybody was cool with it since nobody seemed to care. Makes sense that they got busted for some of those same things 25 yrs later

The most embarassing and sad thing was when Buthc Davis thought it was a good idea to let this crack head on his sidelines for a big Thursday night FSU game as a good example to his mob of players.

This is becoming more than just a trend, it's now a way of life for former UNC players. And I agree, it is sad, but the UNC fanbases arrogance doesn't allow me to feel bad for any of them.

I just read this morning that LT had given the ring to his son TJ to do with as he wished. LT didn't even know it was up for auction until recently.

So there really was no story about which to make a sick joke. He wasn't forced to sell the ring in order to survive. Why would this be an embarassment for UNC or for LT himself? I do not understand why someone attributes arrogance to the story of the auction.

$230,000 for the ring says alot about how much LT was/is respected for his on field achievements.
