Well, Hansbrough was named the nation's "Player of the Decade" by SI, so he's pretty good. UNC tends to get the best, though.

Gerald Henderson showed the world that he is an excellent bleeder and the sheer panic in his eyes made it an instant classic.

Panic??? Try RAGE. No fear in #50 that day. The only "fear" was that Hansbrough would tear Henderson to pieces after his chicken-bleep karate chop to Tyler's face.

Yeah, that was rich, wasn't it. K's biggest concern when Henderson got ejected was that it meant an automatic game suspension, meaning he'd be out for the first round of the NCAA's. And K questioned why Hansbrough was still on the floor so late in the game, as if THAT justified what Henderson did.

UNC won't beat Duke OR NC State next year.

With the likes of Reggie Bullock leading your lockerroom, I can't wait to see the inevitable implosion of the UNC basketball team circa 2010.

LOL@the d00kies! NC State and Gott are going to be better than d00k this season and the d00k fans seem to know it. You see this time of year that d00k fans hide because it's simply not basketball season. The d00k baseball team (last place) is an embarrassment to the ACC just like the annual d00k football team. (last place) I guess if a d00k fan has nothing else to do, they just type BS into their mom's computer all day while she is out working 2 or 3 jobs.

Hansbrough is in good company - MJ, James Worthy, Sam Perkins, Antwan Jamison, etc. Yeah, I'd say Hans is in the top ten for sure, and he has the hardware (a trophy case filled with awards) and stats to prove he deserves being in the Top Ten. Tyler is one of the best of the best. I wish there were more like him: hard working, stayed four years, didn't get in trouble, a coach's dream player. He'll have a fine NBA career, which he deserves with all his hard work.

I first posted yesterday, and then I began reading at the end just a few minutes ago. I had to go back to page 3 after so many comments.

You're right...Tyler could have taken Henderson to the curb physically, but he knew what the end result would have been. Cheap shot and Coach K defended Henderson. Totally wrong. I saw it, and will not forget it. Some of these statements have been so elementary at best. It's hard to comprehend how some adults think when it comes to UNC and Duke on here. Tyler will have a great career. He just needs more minutes per game to prove this. He would also be one heckeva coach if he chose to do this too. I would love to see him go back to school and obtain his MA and coach one day.

I watched Hans in Sunday's game against Miami. He looked pretty good to me - he's bulked up a bit and still displays his trademark tenacity under the basket. It takes a while to transition from college to the NBA (other than the exceptions like Kyrie and a few others). With Hansbrough's ambition and determination, I agree that he'll have a solid NBA career.

Hansbrough is a prime example of someone who worked to make themself a basketball player. He has good, but limited, athletic ability but has over-achieved at every level of competition. That said, I don't think he'd make my alltime Carolina Top Ten...but I'd sure like to see him in Carolina blue for another four years.

UNC will sweep Dook and State next year. Dook is going to be terrible. State is going to be good for once, but Roy simply doesn't lose to State.

Can't wait to see K retire after another embarrassing "Lehigh" moment in the 2013 NCAA tournament. Dook basketball is on its way into the gutter.
