Zouuuuuuubek........opens creampuff store

RE: Zouuuuuuubek........opens creampuff store

A National Championship... Something Zoubek has, but Marshall, Henson, and Barnes don't.

But they will soon be making six figure salaries in the NBA instead of baking pastries.

That's great for them. It doesn't take away from the facts that Zoubek won a National Championship and multiple ACC Championships and was smart enough to get a useful degree in the event his back didn't allow him to pursue an NBA career.

sounds like coach kiwi!

Except Coach K didn't only win 1 National Championship, he won 4.

I'm sure the Home Ec 101 class at the University of New Jersey at Durham prepared him for his new career as a pasty baker.

Despite that you're just being dumb, Home Ec 101 at Duke would probably have a more difficult curriculum than the average class taken by student athletes at UNC. For starters, it would actually have a syllabus and a professor.

Hey, whatever gets you through a fitful night of sleep....

And how do you know why Dwight Jones quit Pro Football? Is there a link that perhaps you're not sharing with us, explaining his reasoning?

The Pistons have been high on Singler, even sending front-office staff to scout him in Spain this season. Nevertheless, NBA rules prohibited general manager Joe Dumars and coach Lawrence Frank from talking to Singler or his agents. They can't counter any offer until the NBA lifts restrictions on Dec. 9. Detroit has been willing to commit to playing younger players in its rebuilding drive, and Singler might have had a chance to crack the rotation. Detroit retains Singler's rights for the 2012-13 season when he is expected to come to the NBA.

It was his choice.

It is his choice because he sucks and he knows it - his other choice was to play in a place with a lot of consonants and Stan at the end.

Two teams want Singler, Madrid and Detroit.

Sucking is going undrafted and then quitting football in the middle of your tryout because you know you aren't going to make it anyway. And on top of that, not even having an education to fall back on.

He will play in Madrid, with the rest of the NBDL....and sit the bench in Detroit because Detroit doesn't want to say they wasted a draft pick on a skinny overrated player

That's not what Detroit said.

just curious, what degree did he get at Duke to prepare him for a bakery store?

Makes sense. What doesn't make sense is Detroit sending people from the front office to Spain to scout him playing. Why would they do that?

A real degree, unlike the ones they give to unc "student-athletes".
