So, let's see ..... the class 'appears'days before the summer session starts ....... 19 students enroll: 18 are current football players, 1 is a former player ....... academic advisors in the athletic department knew there would be NO instruction ...... but the sham classes were not created for the benefit of athletes. Yeah ............ riggghhhhttttt.

Now the picture is getting even clearer as to why Butchie was paid the hush money when he threatened to release his cell phone records. It looks like the SBI might be forced to subpoena them now. This scandal appears to be much much deeper than it is wide. There appears to be a lot of blood in the water for the sharks at the SBI.

The UNC football scandal is certainly more confined than that widespread NCSU shoe and complimentary ticket sales deal under Coach V, therefore no independent BOG investigation is necessary. So, a last-minute bogus summer school class was added in 2011 (in the midst of the NCAA investigation) that only football players took. Nothing to see here. Move along.

WOW...this just keeps getting worse. I thought it was all over once the NCAA handed down it's ruling, but this onion has a lot of layers yet to be peeled.

At least swift action was taken and Nyang'oro was terminated immediately...oh wait, he was "ALLOWED TO RETIRE" on July 1. Well, that's how it works everywhere I guess, brake a lot of rules/possibly laws and you're allowed to work for a few months and then retire when you choose with full pension and benefits.
