He is a good coach, but he is not a great coach. He had one really good year at a school that wasn't exactly a bottom feeder before he got there. S Miss has always had a decent football program, sure they have had some down years but not many in a row so he didn't do anything that any other coach from S Miss didn't do. The only reason he did better at S Miss is because Holtz left ECU, Ecu owned their division. I like him and think he is probably the best UNC could do, but the facts are that he came from a fairly weak conference, not exactly a football powerhouse. AS bad as the ACC has been lately, C-USA is still not the ACC, so if you are expecting the same results at UNC, that is probably exactly what you are going to get, the same results at UNC.

Just another Hole that doesn't like football. They don't understand that 80% of the ACC's income comes from football. Not Basketball. Not field hockey or women's soccer.
