You're getting close...but not quite there! Here's the definition from Dictionary.com:

Flagship: the best or most important one of a group or system: This store is the flagship of our retail chain.

Carolina is the oldest school in the UNC system. It is also, by far, the highest-ranked school in the UNC system, and has the most successful athletics program in the system. I'd say those three things make Carolina the "flagship."

I'm not a Dookie at all in fact I will pull for State if all of the Academic Fraud stuff if true. We are the pirate ship of the ACC because of this shameful scandal. GO Pirate ship!!!
