RIP Andy Griffith

RE: RIP Andy Griffith

Nice job on this one. I think that I have seen all of his shows. I'll probably buy a CD with all of these great and inspiring shows.

No time for Sergeants is one of those movies I have to stop and watch whenever I am flipping through the channels. Truly a great comedy.

And since no one else has:

Another great one. I contacted WRAL and asked them to contact our Governor and the Legislature with the hope that we could honor Andy Griffith on the day of his funeral with turning on our headlights as we travel.

He was buried a few hours after his death on Tuesday.

Enjoyed Andy for so many years. I continue to laugh at he and Barney. RIP Andy.

RE: RIP Andy Griffith

One of my Favorite entertainers from my wonderful childhood. I enjoyed watching Andy and the rest of the Mayberry gang and I would still watch today if I could find it on tv.

RIP Andy! You will be missed!

WRAL still airs The Andy Griffith Show, usually on a Saturday and/or Sunday.

Agreed - I didn't think it was possible to bury someone the day they passed away. I guess his family was prepared and had made arrangements.

RE: RIP Andy Griffith

I learned something today. I missed this one. Sorry.

Thanks Battling. I truly didn't read nor hear it. I missed it totally. Happy 4th.

^^^^^

I heard it on the noon news yesterday, but thought I heard it wrong. I've never heard of anyone being burried the same day that they passed away. Still so sad about this. I feel like part of my childhood is gone.
