Knicks favorites to sign Raymond Felton

Having lost out on their primary free agent target Steve Nash and with Jeremy Lin possibly signing an offer sheet with the Houston Rockets, the Knicks are committed to adding Felton, who finished last season with Portland.

The Knicks may be willing to acquire Felton in a sign-and-trade as a way to hold on to their $3 million mini-mid level exception to use on another free agent.

The Knicks lost out on Steve Nash but they still managed to land an aging future Hall of Fame point guard.

Jason Kidd has decided to leave the Mavs and sign a free agent contract with the Knicks. The 39-year-old Kidd can either start or come off the bench. The Knicks are expected to re-sign Jeremy Lin, who met with Houston Rockets officials on Wednesday and is waiting to receive an offer sheet. Because Lin is a free agent the Knicks have the option to match the offer.

Felton will always be one of my favorite Heels; he was a true warrior and helped bring back Carolina Basketball from the abyss. I wish him the best and will pull for him, wherever he ends up. He'll never be mistaken for an NBA All-Star, but the guy did start for the Bobcats team that actually MADE the playoffs.

Agreed! I hated to see Ray leave the Bobcats; I had hopes for the team when he and Sean May were both drafted. It's a shame that Sean May never made it in the NBA, but Felton did very well, and he helped the Knicks out when he played for them. I wish him good luck wherever he plays (wish he'd go back to the Cats)

And I imagine ol Ray can afford a much more substantial meal than you can.

Is that an excuse for him being an overweight PG in the NBA?

And what is your excuse for not being an anything in the NBA? Fat, stupid, lack of coordination, clumsy, inept, etc? By the way, you got a thing for Jacob I see.

Nah, I just did not have the talent to play in the NBA such as yourself! I AM JACOB'S DADDY! I can be your daddy too if you'd like...
