NCAA could care less about Wuffie/NO conspiracy theories
http://www.newsobserver.com/2012/07/12/2195378/on-the-other-unc-scandal-the-ncaa.htmlLove this part:
Asked for a response to the internal report that showed 54 bogus classes, NCAA spokeswoman Stacey Osburn sent an email with a link to the press release announcing the sanctions levied from the previous investigation.
“Any additional questions,” she wrote, “should be directed to the university.”
So sorry, Wuffies...you'll actually have to focus on your own athletic department for once. I know that can be depressing...I know.

It must be nice to obtain a college degree without actually doing any work, but that's the tar hole way! And they are so proud of it too! The tar holes have the dumbest fan base in sports next to the cowboys!

Classic response of someone who wasn't smart enough to get into UNC in the first place.

Nah, never even wasted my time or money to apply to such a trivial school! Is it considered a school when grades are given and not earned?

You should ask your fellow NC State students that question. I worked for my degree.

All that hard work. All that lost productivity as Wuffies took sick days or slacked off at work so that they could browse the NCSU blogs with the hope of catching wind of the latest conspiracy theory. All that, and the NCAA says, "Too bad. We're done."
Love it. Sorry, wuffies.

We'll see what the SBI digs up. Those agents that I've known are true professionals and unlikely to be schmoozed by the UNC powers-that-be.

Not worried about it. I think Michigan had similar bogus classes and the inept NCAA did nothing about that either.
At least State finally has something to look forward to on the field
s of play this year. And if the NCAA changes it's mind and actually decides to govern things like, say, academics, that will just be a bonus. But if they don't, well, that's about par for the course.
What's strange to me is the NCAA doesn't like it if a tutor helps someone too much in a LEGITIMATE class, but doesn't seem to mind athletes taking ILLEGITIMATE classes. That one really boggles the mind. I guess as long as you allow ONE non-athlete to benefit from the bogus classes, that makes it OK.

Two things working against you here:
Our SBI is known for it's shoddy lab work/evidence collection, so some
Flagship U. "Legal Eagle" (like Wade Smith who defended daddy's little angels in the dook LAX case) would take the case on, and your boys wouldn't stand a chance.
Also, the SBI is headed by
Flagship U. Alum (and former Morehead Scholar) Roy Cooper. Quite naive to expect
The Coop to try to bring down his Heels.
The Swoff won't allow it. ROFL!
Sorry 'bout those.
