And you have none that he did not pay it.

The lawsuit has been dropped. All is well. Well, except for the UNCheat fans who need something to concentrate their efforts on while the ongoing investigations continue in Chapel Hole.

Does the word "ignore" have no meaning to you? Not only could you not ignore something "there's really no need to discuss", you had to ramp it up by claiming proof that doesn't exist.

There's no proof either way so tell your boy, marked, to shut it with these troll comments on page 3:

I don't know either. Hence, there's really no reason to discuss it since the only people that know are the jeweler, Lance and his attorney.

How would I know? I'm not his accountant. He might, but if he did, or had any intentions of paying, he probably wouldn't have been sued in the first place.

You certainly have no proof that he did pay it.

Lance is in the NBA. He doesn't have the amount necessary to pay a shady "jeweler to NBA stars" to drop a lawsuit?

  • still heelman1973 Nov 8, 2012

Reasonable assumptions do not proof make. The most logical answer is that someone gave Deadbeat the money to pay off his debt. We all know that. But, that's not the "proof" that rouge boy wants to pretend it is.

Well to you, of course it is not. But reasonable folks would assume Lance paid the bill. But conspiracy folks do not think logically. Hence, your response.

That '05 championship team had the best starting five in the country. They were tops in most categories (leading scorer, rebounds, etc.). Sometimes great college players don't make great NBA players, but it doesn't diminish what that team accomplished.

Haha, I think the widespread opinion is that no one can be "stomped" by something printed in Bleacher Report. The link you provided is a prime example; Dexter Strickland will not be drafted. The only asterisk bigger than the one that comes with his glass knee is the one next to the wins against NCSU he was bragging about (but did not play in). He's nothing but a big-mouthed jacka$&, and he wasn't any good before he hurt his knee. I'll look forward to buying a chicken and cheese biscuit from him next year when he's working at Time Out.

Another interesting article from that same site:

2013 NBA Draft: Predicting the Biggest Late-Round Steals

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1395280-2013-nba-draft-predicting-the-biggest-late-round-steals/page/11

    Dexter Strickland -- (Flagship U.)

Strickland's name will come with an asterisk after he tore his ACL last January, which only makes him a stronger candidate to play sleeper late in next summer's draft.

North Carolina's most effective perimeter ball-stopper, Strickland's gritty style of play and "jack-of-all-trades" skill set will attract attention from coaches looking for depth, character and efficiency. Though his ceiling lacks height, he offers minimal risk and a high basement for a second-round prospect.

With NBA athleticism, secondary ball-handling capabilities and contagious unselfishness, Strickland could be a value pick as a long-term role player off the bench.

That team looked like the Dream Team compared to Crybaby McCants, Fatboy May, and Future Fatboy Felton. 2005 UNC is easily the worst college team to ever win a championship, with 2010 Duke coming in second, albeit a very distant second.

This statement applies to Sean May and Rashad McCants also, except their paths involve selling the afore-mentioned rings to keep a roof over their heads (and to keep from losing a foot to poorly controlled type 2 diabetes, in May's case).

Can anyone believe that team actually won a championship? Raymond Felton and Marvin Williams are the biggest stars that team produced. 2004-2005 might have been the weakest year in college basketball history.

Of course, he can easily afford it, making his NBA million$. (I suspect that's part of what has the above Under-roos all knotted up and bunchy LOL)

So glad to see Ray has bounced back. I always liked him and thought he and Lawson were similar players. Lawson's NBA career took off, while Felton's stalled for a while. Glad to see him back on track.
