You should check that again because some have already crossed UNC off their list because of this scandal. It will get worse before it gets better.

What recruit has said, "I'm not considering UNC because of the academic issues"

In football, they currently have the 14th ranked class in the nation for the class of 2013. The only ACC schools ranked higher are Clemson(12) and FSU(11).

In basketball, they currently have the 3rd ranked class in the nation for the class of 2013. Tops in the ACC.

You guys have consistently had high ranked recruiting classes the past 5 years or so. Where has that gotten you again? Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

That word has been out for decades. The difference is, now we have documented proof. Before we just knew that was the case, but couldn't prove it, we were delusional for suggesting it (despite so much evidence that things have never really smelled right in Chapel Hill), etc.

But we do love the continual vindication, don't we! :)

I fail to see the part where I mentioned that it guaranteed "on the field success". I was simply stating that the news of UNC Cheating isn't stopping kids from going to UNC to pursue their athletic goals.

And The State fans think they have already won next yrs. basketball title and going 12 -0 in football. Have some success before you start talking about someone not producing.But you would not know because no one has expectations when you are ALways mediocre at best and it is easy to over achieve when you start in the bottom tier. Look at what State considers success and what Carolina considers succes. Some are just used to losing. When you win a title or two let's talil then be happy in the middle of the pack. oh but wait that is success at State.
