It is well known in the state, that if you are not rich enough to go to Duke, smart enought to go to Carolina, then you go to State. Norm Sloan knew that and that is why he left. You State fans just need to get use to being #3 and hope ECU doesn't pass you.

Giving NCSU a simple #3 is actually too generous for them.
For 1, they are well behind Wake as well.
Second, it gives misconception of the distance among all NC schools,
1(Duke)--2(UNC/Wake)--3(NCSU)

But in reality, it's really
1(Duke)--2(UNC/Wake)---------------------------------------------------------------3(NCSU)

Someone wasn't "smart enough" to post this in the NC State forum. I suppose you didn't attend UNC either... or perhaps you're just another disgruntled, unemployed UNC humanities grad letting off some steam. What can you do with a Masters in Comparative Literature from UNC - get a nose ring and work at Starbucks!

And Wake is way more classy compared to the dead last school of ACC. Wake was specifically mentioned that they didn't do negative recruiting. Prop to Wake FB coaches for that, even though UNC lost to them.

NCSU on the other hand exhibited symptoms of inferior complexity at all levels.
