I think if Carolina is smart, they will go outside the family and get the best coach they can find. At some point, too much inbreeding isn't healthy for any program.
I would give Duke the same advice when K retires. Both schools are in the same boat. Either one can get the best, and they don't need to settle for OK just to hire someone considered a program insider.

I understand your point, but Johnny Dawkins would be a great replacement for coach K. He has the knowledge, contacts, Duke legacy, and skills to be an excellent replacement for Coach K.

His contract runs until 2018 and will likely be renewed. Dookies are just scared because after K goes, who is going to pay the players?

Most of the ones on the bench are already getting paid by the NBA (or at least their agents) I'm sure. I have to wonder who the bling leader will be on next years team.
