Don't forget, the best Duke team Carolina has faced in years is on the agenda for this weekend. And you haven't beaten State in the last five meetings.

And how bittersweet would it be for Carolina to win the division in the year that they are not eligible for the postseason? The ole badger was right. Carolina should have self-sanctioned themselves out of LAST year's bowl game. Then you would be playing for a berth in the ACC championship game.

Nah....we did the right thing. It is easy for us to sit back here and say that we should have self sanctioned. But how do you look those guys in the face, the ones(vast majority) who did nothing wrong, and tell them that they are being punished in that way.

That's alright...is there anyone here who thinks that this is a fluke? With the way coach is recruiting, I'm pretty certain that we will be in the hunt for the conference title from here on out...at least for the coastal.

As the wolfpack rise out of the ashes like the proverbial phoenix in basketball...so to are the tarheels in football.

The only thing I'm worried about is keeping our guy here and not running back to Texas to replace the last decent coach we had.
