Based on that's the way it always is and always will be. We all know the culture at NC A&M. Gottfreid will A) Self destruct or B) Get a better offer and State College will hire some Herb Lowe type and be right back to square one. Who's the last basketball coach to "make it" at NC A&M?

"compared to their lil, pastel wearing sister to the west... the Pack seems to be sittin' rather pretty.

again, hang on to that history....

    you're gonna need it. "

What is State College's present in football? A bowl game the Wolfpack laughed UNC for being in. Tar Heels will be watching this year, taking our justly punishment. The futures in football? State fires their coach and goes into "rebuilding mode," blaming the mess on the former coach, talking about how great their current (for a short time) coach is, hoping for a brighter tomorrow. UNC will take another step foward and put a gap between State College and the Tar Heels.
Basketball? State College is 1-0. That's it. 1-0. Big freakin' deal. Win something. I give the Wolfpeckers a decent chance to not be in the expanded Les Robinson Invitational, the first day of the ACC tourney. ON PAPER the Wolfpeckes seem to have a nice team, but haven't accomplished ANYTHING yet. In five years UNC and State can look back from this point and see State is inferior to UNC in both football and basketball. Maybe State had a good year or two, but its still just a wanna be!

"it IS rather "new".. .considering they haven't been a "preseason pick" to win the ACC in well over 30 years."

I think now would be a good time to throw the "Anything less than the national championship is a complete failure" line in your face as the Wolfpeckers always do to the Heels. Big difference in the programs, State College gets giddy about being ranked in the preseason, UNC is considered weak by their standards being "only" ranked #11 in the preseason. You know you have an awesome program when it is considered a rebuilding season when you "fall" to #11 in preseason polls! Call me AFTER you win couple national championships springled with some final fours in a short time span. Until then keep bowing down to the Heels!

We know how you bandwagon UNC hillbillies pine for the "good ol' days" before civil rights, cordless telephones, condoms, etc. I'm not a historian, so I don't know why UNC won so many games against NCSU back then to still give you all a 2-1 overall record against us - maybe more of our students went off to fight in the Spanish-American War, WWI, and WWII? Whatever the cause was, it doesn't change the fact that since Everett Case - an NCSU coach - started the ACC, we've beaten the Pastel Pushovers like they stole something.

This will probably be the same score of the UNC-GT basketball game in Chapel Hill this year, with the same outcome as well. At least the T-holes can gloat over their lucky football win against their in-state overlords, the NC State Wolfpack. That might be enough to keep Walmart's tee shirt sales up during what will surely be a dismal basketball season for the Pastel Pushovers. Don't say we never did anything nice for you guys :-)

Fedora has done a solid job up there this season. His defensive players didn't show up, nor did GT's defense. This score was like a few basketball scores. 68 points in a football game? VT beat GT in OT. 20-17. That was when Logan Thomas wasn't thinking. Heh.
